You participate in the design, prototyping and integration of connected systems: data acquisition, communication with equipment and connection to business applications. You work with the software teams and field contacts to make a need exploitable.

The role requires documenting the assumptions, interfaces and limitations of the device. A successful demonstration is not enough: breakdowns, authorized access, maintenance and actual conditions of use must be planned for.

Vos missions

  • Analyze a field need and identify accessible signals, equipment and interfaces.
  • Design and prototype data acquisition, communication and feedback solutions.
  • Develop or adapt exchanges between equipment, gateways and software services.
  • Provide time stamping, storage, recovery after interruption and error handling.
  • Document architectures, protocols, configurations and maintenance procedures.
  • Set up suitable tests and explain the results, limits and risks.
  • Work with authorized people on site and respect safety and changeover procedures.
  • Coordinate integrations with developers and participate in commissioning within an authorized scope.

Ce qui compte pour ce poste

  • Training in electronics, industrial computing, embedded systems, automation or demonstrable relevant experience.
  • Understanding of networks, data acquisition and communication between equipment.
  • Ability to develop in Python, C/C++ or with an embedded environment relevant to your projects.
  • Demonstrable experience with at least one protocol family such as MQTT, Modbus, HTTP/API or equivalent.
  • Sense of diagnosis, documentation and access security.
  • Ability to explain a system to software and business stakeholders.
  • A completed project, professional or personal, which shows your reasoning and the limits of your solution.
